Global Community Guidelines

Introduction
Community is at the heart of DAZN, and we’re proud to provide a platform where fans can share their views on sports events from around the world. We take our responsibility seriously in keeping the space respectful and free from abuse, and we regularly update these guidelines to help us do so effectively.
These guidelines apply to all users and all forms of User Content, clearly outlining the behaviours and content that are acceptable on DAZN. Regardless of intent, all users of must not create, share, or engage with any content or behaviour that violates these Community Guidelines.
These Community Guidelines should be read in conjunction with the Global User to User Terms of Use. Any capitalised terms used in these Community Guidelines have the meaning given to them in the Global User to User Terms of Use.
Child Safety
Although DAZN’s Service is for adults only, we do not allow behaviour, content or accountsthat endanger the emotional, developmental and physical well-being of minors.
The following behaviours are prohibited on the DAZN Service:
- Sharing or engaging in behaviour or content that sexually exploits minors.
- Mentioning or engaging in harmful or dangerous acts involving minors
- Harassment and cyberbullying of a minor
- Accounts owned or operated by or for minors
Violence and Extremism
We do not allow behaviour or content that in any way supports violent extremist or criminal organizations, or prominent terrorist, extremist or criminal individuals in a way that encourages others to carry out similar acts of violence. This includes behaviour that threatens, promotes, glorifies or signals intent to perform violent acts that would result in serious physical harm or significant destruction of property, to an individual or a group of individuals, or that celebrates those who have attempted similar acts.
The following behaviours are prohibited on the Service:
- Threatening violence
- Inciting violence
- Promoting violent entities
- Attempting to recruit for, raise funds for, or generate support for violent entities
- Using names, images, photos or symbols of violent entities in profile elements such as profile names, descriptions or avatars
Hateful Behaviour
DAZN is a platform where everyone can and should feel welcome to come and play.Hateful behaviour that promotes or normalizes violence, abuse, discrimination, prejudice, intolerance and hatred has no place on the DAZN Service.
We do not allow content or behaviour on the platform that promotes, incites, normalizes or justifies violence, discrimination, harassment, or hatred against individuals or groups of people based on protected characteristics such as:
- caste
- color
- disability
- ethnicity
- gender
- gender identity and gender expression
- immigration status
- national origin
- nationality
- race
- religion
- serious medical condition
- sex
- sexual orientation
Harassment & Targeted Abuse
We believe in the fundamental right of people to express themselves and engage in open conversation.
Abusive and harassing behaviour trample on that right for everyone -by silencing and driving people out of communities and conversation, and by creating environments that put people’s security, psychological health and dignity at risk.
The following behaviours are prohibited on the DAZN Service:
- Engaging in behaviour that intends to disparage, insult, humiliate, or intimidate an adult
- Engagement in harassment or cyberbullying targeting a minor
- Engaging in unwanted or abusive contact or stalking using DAZN-X FanZone features
- Creating accounts dedicated to harassing or abusing another person
- Engaging in sexual harassment
- Inciting others to harass or abuse
- Exposing or threatening to expose private information
Illegal, Harmful and Restricted Activity
We do not allow behaviour or content that is or that facilitates harmful, illegal or dangerous activities. We expect and require all Users to respect all applicable local, national and international laws while they use our service.
The following behaviours are prohibited on the DAZN Service:
- Engaging in, promoting, or offering services that constitute criminal activity
- Selling, promoting or offering illegal substances, regulated drugs, regulated substances, or pharmaceuticals, including products containing THC or nicotine, as well as goods or products related to their manufacture or consumption
- Selling, promoting or offering regulated goods or services
- Selling, promoting or offering instruction or goods or services that rely on manipulation or deceit
- Explaining the use or manufacture of illegal substances and regulated drugs on screen
- Referring to harmful or reckless behaviour that if replicated by a viewer could lead to severe physical harm to themselves or others
- Referring to real firearms or explosives or providing instructions for their manufacture
Sexual Behaviour
DAZN is not the right place for explicit sexual content or nudity.
The following behaviours are prohibited on the DAZN Service:
- Sharing sexually explicit or sexually suggestive content
- Sharing nude, near-nude or sexually provocative content
Suicide and Self Harm
DAZN aims to create an environment where users can talk about their lives and their experiences with sport - not only the joyous and fun ones, but also perhaps for more serious ones as well.
That said, DAZN is not a place where it is ok to promote, glorify or encourage suicide or self-harm, including cutting and disordered eating. And it is definitely not a place for mentioning shocking or graphic material of people hurting themselves.
The following behaviours are prohibited on the DAZN Service:
- Glorifying or promoting self-harming behaviour or suicide
- Encouragement of self-harming behaviour or suicide
- Sharing third-party imagery of suicide or self-harm
Graphic Real-World Media
DAZN promotes free expression, and we allow and encourage a wide range of content but we do not permit violence or gore.
The following behaviours are prohibited on the DAZN Service:
- Mentioning or describing real-world violence or gore
- Sharing footage of real-world violence or gore
Political Discussions
DAZN is a platform where everyone should feel welcome to express themselves and engage in open conversations. While we respect diverse perspectives and beliefs, political discussions are not connected to the events we broadcast and are not appropriate for this space.
You must not start, refer to, promote or lead political discussions on DAZN.
Platform Manipulation
Artificial behaviour, spammy conduct, manipulative interactions with our platform and malicious content ruin the experience for everyone and harm both our platform and our Users.
The following behaviours are prohibited on the DAZN Service:
- Posting or sharing content in a way that is spammy, obnoxious, repetitive or unwanted, whether through automated or manual means
- Operating an account under false pretences, impersonating another person or claiming an identify that is not your own
- Evading DAZN’s enforcement actions, including by creating new accounts when you are subject to a suspension
- Coordinating with others to inauthetntically amplify content or distort discussions
Copyright Infringement
You may not share User Content on DAZN that you do not own or otherwise have rights to share.
Circumvention and Evasion
We have a range of possible enforcement options for violations of our Community Guidelines. These vary in severity, from a simple warning, to a disablement of a particular feature for some amount of time, to a temporary timeout from aService or, in cases of repeated violations or for extremely severe violations, a permanent suspension from using a Service.
It is against our U2U Terms to attempt to get around any restrictions or consequences we apply on an account.
This includes the following behaviours:
- Creating a new account or using backup or secondary accounts to attempt to get around a restriction or suspension
- Allowing someone to use an account to get around a restriction or suspension on another account
