DAZN takes your sports streaming experience to the next level with HDR (High Dynamic Range). It enhances your viewing experience with brighter colours, deeper contrasts, and improved clarity.
This feature will be available for select events, providing a more immersive sports-watching experience.
Events supporting HDR
Currently, HDR is available for select NFL events.
Events supporting HDR will have a HDR icon on the event’s fixture page or promotional page.
HDR streaming requirements
- A DAZN-supported device with HEVC and HDR compatibility.
- Minimum internet speed of 16 Mbps. Check your internet speed here.
- Subscription to NFL Ultimate Tier.
Supported devices to receive HDR video:
- Samsung Tizen TVs using Tizen OS 3.0 and higher
- LG Web OS TVs using WebOS 5.0 and higher
- Hisense Vidaa TVs using U4 and higher
- Phillips Sapphire Whale OS 2.0 and higher
- Panasonic models after 2017 with SDKv3 or higher
- Vestel Foxxum TVs
- Sony Bravia 4K and 8K TVs running Android 9.0 or higher

How to enable HDR or adjust your picture settings for HDR?
To enable or re-enable HDR, you may need to adjust your device's picture settings. Here is a step-by-step guide for your device:
Select Your Device
Connected TVs
This information applies to most Connected TVs, but steps may vary depending on the device.

- Press the ‘Home’ button on your remote and select ‘Settings’.
- Go to Picture > Expert Settings and turn ‘HDR+’ mode to ‘On’.

Turn On HDMI UHD Colour for External Devices:
- Navigate to General > External Device Manager > HDMI UHD Colour.
- Turn on UHD Colour for the HDMI port connected to your external device.
Fire TV Sticks
If you have manually disabled HDR, follow these steps to re-enable it:

- Press the ‘Home’ button on your Fire TV remote and select ‘Settings’.
- From the ‘Settings’ menu, select ‘Display and Sounds’, then go to ‘Display’.
- Scroll down to ‘Dynamic Range Settings’.
- Select either ‘Always HDR’ or ‘Adaptive’ to enable HDR for DAZN.

Why am I not getting HDR?
If you meet the requirements but don't receive HDR,
- Check your device's picture settings and adjust. (See previous FAQ)
- Check your network connection and download speed.
- Check your subscription plan
- Ensure your external device is connected to a display which supports HDR.
- Ensure that any external device connected to your TV or display using an HDMI cable is compatible with HDCP 2.2 (for UHD and/or HDR content)
