Terms valid from 01/06/2026
Reference
1.1 These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern the specific terms for the purchase by a DAZN user of the “World Cup Pass” offer. To the extent not expressly provided herein, the World Cup Pass offer shall be governed by the “DAZN Terms of Use and DAZN Plans” and the “DAZN Service Charter”, which are hereby incorporated by reference and form an integral part of these Terms.
1.2 For the purposes of these Terms, all definitions set forth in the “DAZN Terms of Use and DAZN Plans” shall remain valid.
In the event of any conflict between the “DAZN Terms of Use and DAZN Plans” and these Terms, the latter shall prevail.
Subject Matter and Activation of “World Cup Pass”
2.1 The “World Cup Pass” entitles the user to access, live and on demand, all matches (including so-called “highlights”) of the “FIFA World Cup 2026”. Once the Competition has ended, the content will no longer be accessible.
2.2 The “World Cup Pass” may be purchased:
a) at list price exclusively by users with a new DAZN account or with an existing DAZN account who do not have an active paid DAZN Plan at the time of purchasing the “World Cup Pass” offer;
b) at a promotional price exclusively by users with active paid DAZN Plans “Goal”, “MyClubPass” and “Sports” (hereinafter, the “Compatible DAZN Plan(s)”), for whom the “World Cup Pass” shall be considered an Additional Option and subordinate to the main DAZN Plan.
2.3 DAZN may modify the list of Compatible DAZN Plans and/or offer different and/or additional promotions to those referred to in point b) above during the duration of the competition.
2.4 The “World Cup Pass” shall be activated after the user has successfully completed the payment procedure pursuant to Article 3 below.
2.5 The user may purchase the “World Cup Pass” through the sales channels (touchpoints) made available by DAZN (including, by way of example and not limitation, the “My Account” section or the DAZN website) or through sales channels of third-party partners authorized by DAZN (including, by way of example and not limitation, the partner TIM through the TIMVISION platform, as further specified in paragraph 2.6 below). In the latter case, as also provided in the DAZN General Terms, the user shall have accepted the contractual and commercial terms of the third-party partner, including payment methods, and Articles 3 and 4 of these Terms shall not apply.
2.6 The “World Cup Pass” may be purchased through the partner TIM only in the following cases:
- by users who activate a DAZN account simultaneously with the activation of the “World Cup Pass” offer;
- by users who already have a DAZN account but do not have an active paid DAZN Plan, without the obligation to simultaneously subscribe to one of the Compatible DAZN Plans;
- by users who already have a DAZN account associated with a Compatible DAZN Plan, whether such Plan was previously purchased through TIM or directly on DAZN.
- In the cases referred to under point iii) above, the customer will receive a link allowing them to register their account by choosing one of the following options:
i) create a new account different from the one already existing on DAZN;
ii) use the existing DAZN account.
In this latter case, upon activation of the “World Cup Pass” offer, the paid DAZN Plan purchased directly through DAZN will be automatically deactivated on the date of subscription to the “World Cup Pass”, with the sole exception of DAZN Plans paid through third parties (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay and Amazon Pay), for which, in order to avoid double charges, the user must communicate their withdrawal pursuant to Article 7 of the DAZN Terms of Use and DAZN Plans directly to such third parties.
Payments
3.1 The “World Cup Pass” offer requires a one-off payment, which shall be charged in advance at the time of subscription to a valid Payment Method among those provided by DAZN or to the Payment Method already used for the Compatible DAZN Plan.
3.2 Pursuant to Article 5.3 of the “DAZN Terms of Use and DAZN Plans”, the user confirms that they are the holder of the Payment Method or that they have authorization to use it from the card or account holder. All accounts and Payment Methods are subject to authorization and validation checks by the relevant provider. In the event of refusal of the Payment Method used, access to the content included in the “World Cup Pass” will not be granted.
Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal
4.1 The content included in the “World Cup Pass” offer, by its nature and as provided in the “DAZN Terms of Use and DAZN Plans”, allows the user immediate activation and consequent use of the service. In this regard, DAZN avails itself of the exemption regime referred to in Article 59, paragraph 1, of Italian Legislative Decree No. 206/05 (the “Consumer Code”), concerning the exclusion of the right of withdrawal for service contracts whose performance has begun with the user’s express consent and with the acknowledgement that they agree to proceed with activation and commencement of the service, thereby waiving their right to withdraw within the first 14 days from the conclusion of the contract.
Termination of Compatible Plans
5.1 Without prejudice to the activation conditions set out in Article 2.2(b), termination of the Compatible Plan shall result in the automatic and immediate deactivation of the “World Cup Pass” additional option.
Postponement of One or More Matches of the Purchased World Cup Pass
6.1 In the event of postponement of one or more matches of the FIFA World Cup 2026, the user shall be entitled to access and view such match(es) when they are played.
