Can I share my subscription with someone and watch DAZN simultaneously?
DAZN account login details are personal and cannot be shared. As is the case with other audio and video streaming services, to ensure the correct simultaneous use of the subscription, DAZN allows access to the service only to people living in the same household. Anyone who chooses a FULL plan will be able to watch DAZN simultaneously on two devices only if they are both connected to the same home network. DAZN FAMILY subscribers will be able to watch content simultaneously from two different Internet networks.
How do I switch from FULL to FAMILY?
If you’re paying by credit/debit card or PayPal, you can change your plan from FULL to FAMILY by simply logging into "My Account". However, if you pay for your DAZN subscription via a third party, such as Google or Apple, to change subscription plan you will have to access the subscription section in your relevant app store.
Can I go back to FULL if I choose FAMILY?
To return to the FULL plan, you must cancel your subscription from the My Account area if you pay by credit card or PayPal and once the subscription is closed you can reactivate with the FULL plan. If you pay with Apple, you can make the change within the App Store. If you pay with Google instead, you will have to cancel your subscription and once the subscription is cancelled, reactivate it with the FULL plan.
I am currently using a gift code, what will happen to my subscription?
If you are using a gift code, your subscription won't change, and your plan will automatically become a DAZN FAMILY plan.
If I have a Google or Apple account, how do I switch from a FULL to a FAMILY plan?
You can change subscription plan by accessing the Apple or Google online store.
I have an account via TIM, how will my subscription change?
Customers who have taken advantage of the TIMVISION offer (which includes DAZN) will receive information about the changes to their current subscription conditions directly from TIM.
How many devices can I register on DAZN?
If you have the FULL plan, you can register a maximum of 6 devices. With the FAMILY plan you can register up to 7.
How many devices can stream content simultaneously?
With the DAZN FULL plan you can watch DAZN on 2 devices simultaneously, if they are both connected to the same network in your home. You can watch DAZN on a single device from anywhere. With DAZN FAMILY you can stream DAZN content from 2 devices simultaneously from two different locations.
How often can I reset my DAZN account’s devices?
DAZN reserves the possibility of inserting a monthly cap, but in any case, the minimum number of times you can reset will never be less than 2/month.
Why can I share my account with someone in my household but not with a friend who does not live with me?
Your login details are sensitive data (for example, your DAZN password could be used for other online services). DAZN cannot be responsible for consenting to such data sharing. At home, if you login to your Smart TV and select the Save Password option, whoever lives with you can access your account without you having to reveal your login details.
Can I share my login details with a member of my family who does not live with me?
No. Your DAZN account is personal and cannot be shared. You cannot give access to your account to people who live outside of your household.
What are the benefits of having a DAZN FAMILY subscription?
With the FAMILY subscription, a relative of yours (for example your child) can use DAZN from a device at home while you use DAZN on the move or from a second home. With DAZN FAMILY you can also pair up to 7 devices.
If I redeem a DAZN FAMILY gift code, when it expires can I switch to the FULL plan?
If you have not registered an additional payment method (credit/debit card or PayPal) in your account, your DAZN FAMILY subscription will end when the gift code expires, and you will be able to choose the plan you want directly on DAZN.
However, if you register an additional payment method in your account before the gift card expires, your subscription to DAZN FAMILY will renew automatically once your gift card expires.
I have a holiday home where I spend 3 months in summer. Can I watch DAZN from there?
Yes, you will be able to watch DAZN from your holiday home.
I have two homes. Can I watch DAZN from both?
The DAZN FULL plan is to use two devices at the same time if both are connected to the same internet network in your home, or on the go on one device (smartphone, tablet) if no one is watching DAZN from home.
I travel a lot for work, can I use DAZN when I am traveling?
DAZN FULL plan allows you to use two devices simultaneously if they are both connected to the same household Internet network, or on the move on a mobile device (smartphone, tablet) if nobody is watching it from home. If you have two homes and you anticipate watching DAZN from both locations simultaneously, we suggest you choose the DAZN FAMILY plan.
If DAZN FAMILY allows me to watch content from two different locations, why can I share my subscription only with people who live with me?
As is the case with other audio and video streaming services, DAZN allows access to the service only to people living in the same household, whether they are members of the same family or simply live in the same house. This is because, for security reasons, the login details of the person that has subscribed are personal and cannot be shared. With the FAMILY subscription plan, the subscriber installs the DAZN app on the devices they register, this way any member of the household can access the account without having to know the login details.
What does it mean that a pro-rata invoice will be issued?
The user who has subscribed to a DAZN FULL subscription and decides to switch to the DAZN FAMILY plan will receive a charge equal to the price of the new plan €69.99 MINUS the cost related the days of subscription of the previously subscribed plan not used.
For example, a customer who subscribed on 10/08 to the FULL plan and pays €44.99 for the subscription period 10/08 - 09/09, if on 11/08 he decides to switch to the FAMILY plan, after having switched plan he will see in the Payments section of My Account a pro-rata invoice of €69.99 MINUS the cost of the prepaid and unused subscription period, 11/08 – 09/09 (29 days). Therefore, the customer will pay €69.99 (monthly cost of FAMILY subscription) - €43.49 (€1.49 x 29) = €26.50.
