The pro-rata value is the amount charged when you upgrade to a higher-tier subscription plan. It is calculated by deducting the credit for the unused portion of your current subscription from the price of the new plan.
How is the pro-rata value calculated?
The pro-rata value is calculated by subtracting the cost of the unused days remaining on your current subscription from the price of the new plan (for example, DAZN FAMILY).
For example:
- On 10 August, you subscribe to the DAZN FULL monthly plan and pay €46.99 for the subscription period from 10 August to 9 September.
- On 11 August, you decide to upgrade to the DAZN FAMILY monthly plan, which costs €71.99.
- On 11 August, a pro-rata invoice is generated for €71.99, minus the value of the unused prepaid subscription period (11 August–9 September, 29 days).
- The amount charged at the time of the upgrade is therefore: €71.99 (monthly DAZN FAMILY plan) − €45.42 (€1.56 × 29 days) = €26.57.
