What is pro-rata value?
The user who switches to a superior subscription (e.g. from DAZN Standard to DAZN Plus) will receive a charge equal to the price of the new plan MINUS the cost related the days of subscription of the previously subscribed plan not used.
How is pro-rata value calculated?
The pro-rata value is equal to the price of the new plan (e.g. DAZN Plus) MINUS the cost related the days of subscription of the previously subscribed plan not used.
For example:
- a customer who subscribed on 10/08 to the STANDARD plan and pays €44.99 for the subscription period 10/08 - 09/09.
- on 11/08 he decides to switch to the PLUS plan at €69.99.
- on 11/08 a pro-rata invoice of €69.99 MINUS the cost of the prepaid and unused subscription period, 11/08 – 09/09 (29 days).
- Therefore, the customer will pay €69.99 (monthly cost of PLUS subscription) - €43.49 (€1.49 x 29) = €26.50.
