First steps to resolve streaming problems

Basic troubleshooting on your Web browser

Please go through the steps below:

• Confirm your internet connection is available on your device
  To check if your PC/MAC has a working internet connection check if you can access www.dazn.com. If you can see the page and did not receive an error message you know that the internet connection on your PC/MAC is working.
• Check your internet connection speed at www.fast.com
  On your web browser please navigate to www.fast.com to check your internet connection speed. As this page is optimized for streaming services it will get you an adequate picture of the speed of your internet connection. To review how fast your internet should be to watch DAZN please click here.
• Try another event and see if it works
  In your web browser check if you can load any other event which is currently running. Once it is working switch back to the original event you wanted to watch. If the other event is not working proceed to the next step.
• Try a different web browser
  Simply try to watch DAZN in another web browser. For a list of available web browser please check http://outdatedbrowser.com . On this web page you can get the latest versions of available web browsers.
• Delete cookies and cache
  Please navigate to our "How to delete your Cookies and Cache" article for more information in regards of the web browser you are using.
• Check your IP address and comfirm it is located in a supported country
  On your web browser navigate to Maxmind. Once you are on the Maxmind page it will automatically show you where you are located according to the Maxmind database. Make sure that you are located in a supported country.

Basic troubleshooting on your PlayStation 

Please go through the steps below:

• Try another event and see if it works
  In your DAZN app check if you can load any other event which is currently running. Once it is working switch back to the original event you wanted to watch. If the other event is not working proceed to the next step.
• Restart the DAZN App
  Please follow the steps below:
  • On your PlayStation controller click the "PS Home" button.
  • Go to the "TV & Video" section.
  • Navigate to the DAZN app and use the "Options" button on your controller.
  • Select "Close app".
  • Navigate to the DAZN app and start it again.
• Try force closing the app
  Please follow the steps below:
  • On your PlayStation navigate to the DAZN app.
  • Use the option button on your PlayStation controller and select close from the dropdown menu to the right, which will close the DAZN app.
• Restart your PlayStation
  Please follow the steps below:
  • Simply turn off your PlayStation.
  • Make sure to wait for 10 to 20 seconds
  • Start your PlayStation again.
• Confirm that other streaming apps are working
  On your device please go to any other streaming app you have installed on your system and check if it works. If you don't have any other streaming app please check if your PSN Store is working and you are able to browse through it.
• Confirm the latest operating system is installed

• Update DAZN app
  We would encourage you to enable automatic updates on your PlayStation to get your DAZN app automatically updated once an update is available.

• Restart your Router
  Please follow the steps below:
  • To restart your router please unplug your router or modem from its power outlet (don't just turn it off).
  • Wait 15-20 seconds, then plug it back in.
  • Allow the device a minute or two to turn back on.

Basic troubleshooting on your Xbox

Please go through the steps below:

• Try another event and see if it works
  In your DAZN app check if you can load any other event which is currently running. Once it is working switch back to the original event you wanted to watch. If the other event is not working proceed to the next step.
• Restart your App
  Please follow the steps below:
  • On your Xbox controller push the Xbox button to return to the home screen
  • Navigate to the DAZN app
  • Push the menu/option button on your controller
  • Select "Quit"
  • Wait for 5 to 10 seconds and start the DAZN again
• Try force closing the app
  Please follow the guide on the Xbox Support page to force close the DAZN app.
• Restart your Device
  Please follow the steps below:
  • Simply turn your Xbox off and unplug it from the power outlet (don't just turn it off).
  • Make sure to wait for 15 to 20 seconds before you plug it back in.
  • Afterwards turn the Xbox back on.
• Confirm that other streaming apps are working
  On your device please go to any other streaming app you have installed on your system and check if it works. If you don’t have any other streaming app please check if your Xbox store is working and you are able to browse through it.
• Confirm the latest operating system is installed

• Update DAZN app
  Please follow the steps below:
  • On your Xbox please navigate to the DAZN app (do not start it)
  • Use the options button on your Xbox controller
  • Select "Check for Updates"
  • If an update is available you will be able to install it now
• Restart your Router
  Please follow the steps below:
  • To restart your router please unplug your router or modem from its power outlet (don't just turn it off).
  • Wait 15-20 seconds, then plug it back in.
  • Allow the device a minute or two to turn back on.

Basic troubleshooting on your iPhone and iPad 

Please go through the steps below:

• Confirm device is supported
  • iPhone 5, or newer
  • iPod Touch (5th Generation), or newer
  • iPad 2, or newer
• Confirm your internet connection is available on your iPhone, or iPad
  To check if your iPhone, or iPad has a working internet connection check if you can access www.dazn.com on your Apple Safari browser. If you can see the page and did not receive an error message you know that the internet connection on your iPhone, or iPad is working.
• Restart the DAZN app
  Please follow the steps below:
  • Double-click the Home button to show your most recently used apps.
  • Swipe right or left to find the DAZN app that you want to close.
  • Swipe up on the app's preview to close the app.
  • Click on the DAZN app to reboot it.
• Update your DAZN app
  Please go through the following steps:
  • On your device please navigate to the appstore
  • In the appstore click on the update button
  • Swipe your screen down to see if there are updates available for your apps
  • If there is an update for DAZN available you will see it in the list
  • Click on update to install the latest version of DAZN
• Restart your Device

• Uninstall and reinstall the DAZN application
  Please go through the steps below:
  • Lightly touch and hold the DAZN app until it jiggles
  • Tap "X" in the upper left corner of the app
  • Tap delete
  • Go to the app store
  • Enter "DAZN" into the search field
  • Click on the small cloud symbol next to the DAZN app

Basic troubleshooting on your Android Phone and Tablet

Please go through the steps below:

• Confirm device is supported
  Your Android Phone, or Tablet must be able to run operating systems 4.4 and above.
• Confirm your internet connection is available on your Android phone, or tablet
  To check if your Android phone, or tablet has a working internet connection check if you can access www.dazn.com on your web browser. If you can see the page and did not receive an error message you know that the internet connection on your Android phone, or tablet is working.
• Try force closing the app
  Please follow the steps below:
  • On your device tap the overview button (This button is usually located on the bottom of your screen and resembles often a simple square, or two rectangles overlapping each other)
  • Scroll through the apps until you find the DAZN app
  • Drag the app off the screen (This will close the app, but will not stop any background processes)
• Check for new updates of the DAZN app
  Please go to the Google Playstore and check if for an update of the DAZN app. If an update is available make sure to download the latest version of your App.
• Restart your Device
  Please go through the steps below on your Android device:
  • In order to reboot your Android smartphone or tablet press down on the suspend button and hold it down for several seconds. You will find the suspend button is usually on the right side of the device just above the volume buttons.
  • After a few second you will see a menu. Select "Restart" from the menu if available, otherwise select "Power Off"
  • If your device doesn't restart automatically push and hold down on the suspend again until it restarts
• Uninstall and reinstall the DAZN application
  Please go through the steps below:
  • Open your device's Settings app
  • Tap "Apps & notifications"
  • Tap on the DAZN app (If you don't see it, first tap See all apps or App info)
  • Tap uninstall
  • Sign in to the Google Play Store (Ensure your device is connected to the internet)
  • Use the search function and enter "DAZN", or look in the sport section of the Google Play Store.

  • Follow the instructions on your TV to install the DAZN app

Basic troubleshooting on your Apple TV

If you're experiencing issues while using the DAZN app on your Apple TV, please follow the troubleshooting steps below:

• Restart Your Apple TV
  • Press and hold the Home button (TV icon) and the Menu button on your Apple TV remote until the Apple TV logo appears.
  • This will restart your Apple TV.
• Check your network Connection
  • Ensure your Apple TV is connected to a stable Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection.
  • You can check your connection under Settings > Network.
• Update the DAZN App
  • Open the App Store on your Apple TV.
  • Navigate to Updates and check if there is an update available for the DAZN app. If yes, install the update.
• Uninstall and reinstall the DAZN App
  • Navigate to the DAZN app on your Apple TV.
  • Press and hold the Select button on the remote until the app starts shaking.
  • Press the Play/Pause button, then select Delete.
  • Reinstall the app from the App Store.
• Update Apple TV’s software
  • Go to Settings > System > Software Updates.
  • Select Update Software to ensure your Apple TV is running the latest version of tvOS.
• Sign out and sign back in
  • Open the DAZN app.
  • Go to the Settings menu in the app.
  • Select Sign Out and then sign back in with your credentials.
• Clear the app’s cache
  • Double-click the Home button on your Apple TV remote.
  • Find the DAZN app in the app switcher.
  • Swipe up to force close the app, then reopen it.
• Check for service outages
  • DAZN may occasionally experience service outages.
  • Visit DAZN’s Support Page or check their social media channels for updates on any ongoing issues.
• Adjust video and audio settings
  • If you're facing video or audio quality issues, go to Settings > Video and Audio on your Apple TV.
  • Check and adjust your resolution and sound settings as needed.

Basic troubleshooting on your Samsung Smart TV

Please go through the steps below:

• Restart your App
  Please follow the steps below:
  • On the DAZN homescreen, navigate upwards until you see the menu bar
  • Select "Exit App" on the right side of the menu bar
  • Once you are back on your home screen please navigate the DAZN app and start it
• Try force closing the app
  Please follow the steps below:
  • On your remote please hold the back button for a few seconds. This should bring up the option to Exit the app.
  • If that did not work, please power off your TV and unplug it for 10 to 20 seconds. Afterwards plug your TV back in and restart it.
• Restart your Device
  Please follow the steps below:
  • Turn off your Samsung Smart TV and unplug it from the power outlet (don't just turn it off).
  • Make sure to wait for 15 to 20 seconds
  • Afterwards turn your Samsung Smart TV back on and restart it
• Confirm that other streaming apps are working
  On your device please go to any other streaming app you have installed on your system and check if it works. If you don't have any other streaming app please check if your app store is working and you are able to browse through it.
• Confirm the latest operating system is installed

• Reinstall the DAZN app
  Please follow the steps below:
  • On your device navigate to the tile of the DAZN app (do not start the app)
  • Using your remote control navigate and down and select delete
  • Navigate to the app store
  • Search for DAZN and install the latest version of the app
• Restart your Router
  Please follow the steps below:
  • To restart your router please unplug your router or modem from its power outlet (don't just turn it off).
  • Wait 15-20 seconds, then plug it back in.
  • Allow the device a minute or two to turn back on.

Basic troubleshooting on your LG Smart TV

• Restart the DAZN App

  • On your LG Smart TV start any other app you have installed.
  • Click the "Smarthub" button on your remote control.
  • On the left side you will find your activity feed.
  • Go on your activity feed, navigate up until you see a small "X" and close the DAZN application.
  • Once you have closed the DAZN app you can start it again.
• Try force closing the app
  Please follow the steps below:
  • On your remote control use the "Home" button and open another App
  • Go to "Recent" apps and go to the DAZN app
  • Click upwards twice and then click "OK" to close the DAZN app
  • Afterwards please restart the App and see if your problem was fixed
• Restart your Device
  Please follow the steps below:
  • Turn off your LG Smart TV and unplug it from the power outlet (don't just turn it off).
  • Make sure to wait for 15 to 20 seconds
  • Afterwards turn your LG Smart TV back on and restart it
• Confirm that other streaming apps are working
  On your device please go to any other streaming app you have installed on your system and check if it works. If you don't have any other streaming app please check if your app store is working and you are able to browse through it.
• Confirm the latest operating system is installed

• Uninstall and reinstall the DAZN application
  Please follow the steps below:
  • On your LG Smart TV please select the DAZN application and press the green colored button to display the options
  • Use the up and down arrows on your remote to select "Delete" and press "Enter" on your remote
  • Use the side arrows to select "Yes"; and confirm with "Enter"
  • Please go to the LG content store
  • Use the search function and enter "DAZN"
  • Select DAZN and follow on screen instructions to download DAZN again.
• Restart your Router
  Please follow the steps below:
  • To restart your router please unplug your router or modem from its power outlet (don’t just turn it off).
  • Wait 15-20 seconds, then plug it back in.
  • Allow the device a minute or two to turn back on.

  • Select "Downloaded" and afterwards press the down arrow button to select the DAZN application pressing the enter button
  • Press the enter button again and select "Force stop"
  • Press the enter button again to select "OK"
• Restart your Device
  • Please follow the steps below:
  • Turn off your Sony Smart TV and unplug it from the power outlet (don't just turn it off).
  • Make sure to wait for 15 to 20 seconds
  • Afterwards turn your Sony Smart TV back on and restart it
• Confirm that other streaming apps are working
  • On your device please go to any other streaming app you have installed on your system and check if it works. If you don't have any other streaming app please check if your app store is working and you are able to browse through it.
• Confirm the latest operating system is installed

  • On your Panasonic home screen go to "My Apps"
  • Select the "Settings" symbol in the upper right corner of your Panasonic Smart TV
  • On the left side go to "Deinstall apps". As soon as the page loads select the DAZN app.
  • Click on the DAZN app and confirm the deletion of the app.
  • Push the app button on your remote control.
  • Search for "DAZN".
  • Click the DAZN app and follow the instructions to install the app.
• Restart your Device
  Please follow the steps below:
  • Turn off your Panasonic Smart TV and unplug it from the power outlet (don't just turn it off).
  • Make sure to wait for 15 to 20 seconds
  • Afterwards turn your Panasonic Smart TV back on and restart it
• Confirm that other streaming apps are working
  On your device please go to any other streaming app you have installed on your system and check if it works. If you don't have any other streaming app please check if your app store is working and you are able to browse through it.

  • Make sure to wait for 15 to 20 seconds
  • Afterwards turn your Android TV back on and restart it
• Confirm that other streaming apps are working
  On your device please go to any other streaming app you have installed on your system and check if it works. If you don't have any other streaming app please check if your app store is working and you are able to browse through it.
• Confirm the latest operating system is installed
  Please check for updates on your Android TV and make sure that you the latest version installed. Depending on your manufacturer of your TV the steps would be different. Please refer to the manual which came with your TV for additional information.
• Uninstall and reinstall the DAZN application
  Please follow the steps below:
  • From the Android TV Home screen, scroll down and select Settings
  • Go to "Device" and select "Apps"
  • Under "Downloaded apps" choose the DAZN app
  • Select Uninstall and confirm with "OK"
  • Afterwards go to the Google play store
  • Use the search function and search for "DAZN"
  • Click on the app and follow instructions to install
• Restart your Router
  Please follow the steps below:
  • To restart your router please unplug your router or modem from its power outlet (don’t just turn it off).
  • Wait 15-20 seconds, then plug it back in.
  • Allow the device a minute or two to turn back on.

  • On your Amazon Fire TV navigate to "Settings"
  • Go to "Applications"
  • Select the DAZN app
  • Select "Force stop"
  • Restart the DAZN app and check if your problem was fixed.
• Restart your Amazon Fire TV
  Please follow the steps below:
  • On your Amazon Fire TV please navigate to the settings
• Now you will need to go to "Device"
• Navigate down to "Restart"
• Your Fire TV will power off and automatically turn on again.
• Confirm that other streaming apps are working
  On your device please go to any other streaming app you have installed on your system and check if it works. If you don't have any other streaming app please check if your app store is working and you are able to browse through it.
• Confirm the latest operating system is installed
  Software updates automatically install on your Amazon Fire TV. If you want to manually check for a software update please go through the steps below:
  • From the Fire TV menu navigate to "Settings"
  • Select "Device"
  • Select "About"
  • Select "Check for System Updates"
  • If an update is available you will be able to install it now
• Uninstall and reinstall the DAZN application; ensure the latest version is downloaded.
  Please follow the steps below:
  • On your Amazon Fire TV please navigate to the "Your apps and games" section
  • Make sure to scroll completely to the right and select "See all"
  • Once your app overview loads navigate to the DAZN app and click on the options button on your remote
  • Select "Uninstall" from the menu on the right side
  • Afterwards use the search function on the "Home" section and search for DAZN
  • Click on the DAZN app and follow the instructions to install the app

Basic troubleshooting on your Amazon Fire Tablet

Please go through the steps below:

• Confirm your Fire Tablet is supported

• Confirm your internet connection is available on your device
To check if your device has a working internet connection open your web browser on your device and visit www.dazn.com . If the page loads you know that your internet connection is working. Alternatively, you can visit the app store on your device to see if your device has a working internet connection.

• Try force closing the app
  Please follow the steps below:

  • If your DAZN app has an update available it will have an "Update" button next to it
• Restart your Fire Tablet
  Please go through the steps below:
  • Press and hold the Power button for 40 seconds or until the device restarts automatically
  • Once your device restarts release the power button
  • If your device doesn't restart automatically press the power button until it starts
• Uninstall and reinstall the DAZN app
  Please follow the steps below:
  • On your Amazon Fire TV please navigate to the "Your apps and games" section
  • Make sure to scroll completely to the right and select "See all"
  • Once your app overview loads navigate to the DAZN app and click on the options button on your remote
  • Select "Uninstall" from the menu on the right side
  • Afterwards use the search function on the "Home" section and search for DAZN
  • Click on the DAZN app and follow the instructions to install the app
